How MayaPDF handles plan and account cancellation. Separate from the Refund Policy.
Policy version: 2026-09-29-draft · Draft — OWNER_LEGAL_APPROVAL_REQUIRED
Draft — pending OA-LEGAL approval. Copy matches current one-time annual checkout behaviour (no claimed auto-renewal cancellation UI).
Cancellation means you stop using a paid MayaPDF entitlement going forward, or you close the account relationship as described below. Cancellation is not the same as a refund.
Pro Annual is sold as a one-year web licence via customer-initiated checkout. MayaPDF does not currently claim recurring auto-renewal billing. When your paid term ends, access reverts to the free/post-trial tier unless you purchase again. Contact support if you need confirmation that no further charge is scheduled.
If you ask to cancel during an active paid annual term, access normally continues until the paid term end date already purchased, unless a refund is separately approved.
You may stop using Free at any time. Account closure requests are handled by support; document retention follows the Privacy Policy.
Lifetime BYOS is a perpetual product entitlement under the supported service lifecycle (legal definition pending approval). Closing your MayaPDF account is distinct from revoking Lifetime entitlement after refund. Disconnecting Google Drive or Dropbox does not by itself cancel Lifetime entitlement, but server-dependent document operations may require reconnect.
You may disconnect external storage at any time from your dashboard (when BYOS connectors are enabled). Provider fees remain your responsibility.
You may download your own originally uploaded documents while the account remains accessible. Lifetime BYOS does not rely on MayaPDF permanent document storage.
Cancellation ends or declines future use; a refund returns money under the Refund Policy. One does not automatically imply the other.
Email maya@maya123.com from your registered address. State whether you want cancellation, refund review, or both.
Cancellation is effective when support confirms in writing (email), with the UTC timestamp recorded in operational notes. Draft process until OA-LEGAL.
