Straight answers

What happens when my trial ends?
Your account stays open. You can always log in, view your library, and download your own originally-uploaded documents — unmodified and unwatermarked — forever. Editing, tools, signing, OCR, protect/redaction and new uploads pause until you upgrade. We never delete your files because a trial ended, and we never hold your own files hostage.
Do you need my credit card for the trial?
No. The trial needs no card and there is no auto-charge. Nothing is billed unless you explicitly choose MayaPDF Pro and complete payment. This is the main way we differ from Adobe Acrobat, which requires a card and auto-converts to paid.
Is the trial watermark on my original files too?
Never. The small "Created with MayaPDF Trial" footer appears only on exports you generate (tool outputs, signed/OCR/protected PDFs). Your uploaded original is always downloadable clean. And for cryptographic signatures the watermark is added before signing, so the signature stays valid — we never produce a broken signature.
What does the Pro Annual price cover, and is GST included?
Pro Annual is a one-year MayaPDF Pro web licence for one account: PDF page tools, OCR with English plus 14 Indian-language packs, image/visual signing, and beta PKCS#7 signing where the server signing gate is enabled. Listed prices are ₹999/year (India) and $10/year (international display). Your own PFX certificate path is Pro-only. Per-job safety limits apply. Multi-party E-sign workflows and the desktop private preview are not included. GST is charged as applicable on INR checkout. USD checkout is not enabled until owner payment confirmation.
How do I pay, and can I get a refund?
Cashfree hosts INR checkout today, so MayaPDF does not receive card details. International USD charging is pending owner confirmation (OA-USD-PAYMENTS). Refund windows are still draft and pending owner confirmation; contact support before purchasing if refund eligibility matters to you.
Are my documents kept if I don't upgrade?
Yes. Nothing is deleted when a trial ends. Your documents remain in your account for you to view and download. If we ever introduce a retention limit for long-dormant expired accounts, we'll state it in the Terms first — today there is no such deletion.
