Local PDF work for Windows, under active development

There is no public installer or download yet. This page reports engineering status; it is not a release offer.

Available in private preview

  • Windows .NET desktop shell with bounded local PDF inspection.
  • Offline OCR with English plus 14 Indian-language packs stored locally.
  • Extracted text and independently parser-validated searchable PDF output.
  • Persistent bounded queue and isolated PDF worker foundation.

OCR runs with network access denied and does not depend on the production website or a runtime CDN. File, page, pixel, memory and language-selection safety limits apply.

Beta limitations

Accuracy varies by scan quality, script, layout and handwriting. English and Hindi acceptance paths are verified; bundled packs do not imply equal measured accuracy for every language. Handwriting OCR is experimental.

Coming later

Signed licensing/activation, installer, updater/rollback, DSC hardware-token support and enterprise deployment are not available. No production licensing or code-signing private key is included.
